FACILITIES OPERATIONS TECHNICIAN
- Facilities Operations Technician is a full time position. Applicant must be available to work weeknights and/or weekends.
- This position is responsible for keeping the ice in first-rate condition. In addition, during time when not resurfacing ice, this role is responsible for maintaining equipment, and ensuring all related areas are clean and orderly, including maintaining the appearance of the rink areas, grounds, warehouse “Zam” room and other areas as assigned. Drivers must promote and maintain a positive environment for skaters, guests, children, parents, and staff.
ZAMBONI DRIVER
- Zamboni Driver is a full time position. Applicant must have weekend availability
- This position is responsible for resurfacing the ice with our Zamboni machine, open and closing the building, light building maintenance, and some minor custodial responsibilities including, but not limited to: trash removal, floor sweeping and mopping, minor surface area (tables, windows, glass, etc), minor event set- up, and periodic up-keep and improvements projects
SKATE GUARD/EVENT HOSTS
- The Skate Attendant/Party Host/Event Staff is a key resource member of the Hazel Park Ice Arena team in its successful operation of the facility. The position provides customer service, duties associated with skate rental counter operation, on ice presence during public skate and other ice events, birthday party and group outing hosting, general event staff member and facility upkeep, and program assistance as needed.
